partners · find a partner

The certified partner directory is coming.

In the meantime, write to us directly: we'll put you in touch with the partner best suited to your project.

how to choose one

What to look for in a partner, even if you don't find them here.

These apply whether we point you to a partner or you choose one yourself.

Domain expertise matters more than technical expertise.

It's the criterion that moves the result most and the one assessed least. In a declarative project, the quality of the outcome is decided in the phase where someone describes your domain: which objects exist, how they relate, which rules genuinely apply, which exceptions matter.

A partner who knows your sector asks better questions, spots the exceptions you forgot to mention and saves you two or three rounds of correction. A technically brilliant partner who is a stranger to your world will build exactly what you described, including the parts you described badly.

When you ask us for a recommendation, that's the first filter we apply.

Ask to see a configuration, not just an interface.

Sales presentations show screens. They're useful but tell you little, because in a declarative project the screens are the automatically generated part.

The question that discriminates is: show me the domain description from a project you've delivered. A good partner shows it willingly (suitably redacted) and can explain why they structured things that way: why that entity is separate, why that permission is conditional, why that control fires there.

If the answer is vague, or the configuration is a heap of special cases with no structure, the project will be hard to maintain — and maintainability is precisely why you'd choose this approach.

Check who will maintain the system after year one.

One of the interesting properties of this model is that you can change who maintains the system without rebuilding it. It's worth verifying up front that this really holds in your case.

The concrete questions: will the configuration be yours, versioned where you choose? Who in your organisation will be trained for ordinary changes? Which work will still require the partner? The answers belong in writing at the start, not in a discussion once the relationship has cooled.

A serious partner has no trouble with these questions: they know the value they offer is domain expertise, not control over a configuration file.

frequently asked

Finding a partner: the questions.

When will the public directory arrive?
When there are enough certified partners to make a directory useful — that is, to give you a real choice by sector and geography. Publishing one with three names would help nobody. In the meantime direct contact works better, because we can point you based on your specific case.
Do you choose the partner you recommend?
We propose the profile or profiles that look best suited by sector, skills and project size, and explain why. The choice and the contractual relationship remain yours: we don't insert ourselves into the commercial relationship and we don't take a position in the negotiation.
Can we work directly with you instead of a partner?
Yes, and in some cases that's the right choice — typically for platform projects or where the case is particularly close to work we're already doing. In others, a partner with strong expertise in your sector brings more value than we can. We'll say so honestly.
What happens if the partner relationship doesn't work out?
Because the configuration describing your domain is yours, in readable versioned text files, moving to another partner or an internal team doesn't mean redoing the work. It's one of the reasons we insist that point is clarified at the start of the contract.
Do you work with partners outside Italy?
The programme has no geographic limits and the work is largely remote. Domain expertise and working language matter more than distance: for an Italian public sector project, for instance, you need someone who knows that regulatory context, wherever they're based.
